Preschool Team Member – 10:10-11:05 a.m.
Be a part of introducing Grace’s little ones to the TRUTH – God loves them, God made them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever! Our preschool classes gather once a month in The Backyard for TreeHouse, a place for them to laugh, sing, and learn about the amazing God who created them.
K-5th Grade Small Group Leader – 10:10-11:05 a.m.
Being a Small Group Leader is all about building relationships that MATTER! We’re taking small groups to the next level by moving our leaders out of the role of “teacher” and into the role of “coach”…think less talking from leaders and more talking from kids! Each week, kids travel to The Backyard for an exciting show filled with music, drama, media, interactive teaching, and lots of laughter.
Production/Tech Team Member
More comfortable behind the scenes? Join this team of dedicated volunteers who make the weekly Backyard shows and monthly TreeHouse shows run like clockwork. If you have experience with ProPresenter or running sound and lights, this is the place for you!
First Impressions Team Member
A family’s first impression of Grace is so important! We are looking for warm, smiling faces to fill the halls and welcome families who join us each Sunday. As you meet, greet, and escort kids and families to their appropriate classrooms, you’ll make connections with them that will help them feel “at home” at Grace.
Support Team Member
If you’re into task lists, this is the spot for you! These team members assist kids and families with everything from first aid to using our computerized check-in system. They also assist and backup our staff by handling simple administrative tasks, gathering last-minute supplies for leaders, and doing a quick “cleanup” at the end of the hour.
Grace Kids Music Choir Angel – 4:30-6:30 p.m.
This team of volunteers is essential for the Kindergarten-5th grade choirs to run smoothly. They assist the staff with everything from signing in and serving snacks to supervising kids, bathroom breaks, and play time. No musical training is required—just a loving heart and a desire to serve!
Prayer Team Member
This is a volunteer job you can do anywhere and anytime! These dedicated prayer warriors spend time each week covering our kids, families, volunteers, staff, and ministries in prayer. They also commit to pray for new kids and families, as well as new opportunities for outreach God brings our way!
Events Team Member
If you can’t make a regularly scheduled commitment, this could be the spot for you! This team is called in throughout the year to assist with preparation for events. No need to help with all these events— just the ones that work with your schedule!
Worship Bag Coordinators
Need a job you can do at home? This volunteer is responsible for the worship bags used during our Sunday morning services. Our staff supplies you with all the goodies that go inside the bags. You take the supplies and bags home, clean them out, replenish them, and return them in time for worship services the following Sunday…or you can come up and do it all in our office. This takes about 30-45 minutes a week.
These brave volunteers are not afraid to venture into the wildest frontier of all…supply closets! Our staff will provide you with a list of supplies for the month to purchase or gather from our supply closets and sort into groups for each Sunday’s preschool and elementary lessons.
Does the constant hum of the copy machine soothe your soul? Are you an expert at finding all those secret places inside the copier where paper jams like to hide? Do you know what toner is? Then have we got a job for you! We’ll provide you with plenty of copies to make on our beautiful Xerox Workcenter copier—monthly, weekly, every now and then—we’ll work around your schedule.
Our Backyard and TreeHouse shows are a blast—and one thing that makes them so much fun is all the cool props and costumes! As a Prop Coordinator, you’ll gather props and costumes each week for our shows from our “green room” closets and purchase or borrow any props we don’t have on hand. It’s a great way to get involved behind the scenes!
If you don’t mind adding a few items to your grocery list every now and then, this opportunity is just right for you. This volunteer is responsible for keeping our “green room” fridge and pantry stocked with drinks and snacks! You’ll be the favorite volunteer of everyone involved in our Backyard and TreeHouse rehearsals and shows!
