Grace Weekly - Serve

Second Saturday Serve

On Saturday, April 12, Westchase District will officially open its long-awaited signature park with an Easter Celebration presented by Grace!  We are excited to be sponsoring this big addition to our community and a large crowd is expected to join in the fun! Grace and Friends of Westchase will be at the park welcoming our neighbors from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Contact Kristy Elmore or sign up for a spot HERE, then check in at the Welcome Table at the park on Saturday and we will help you find a place to serve!

Second Saturday Serve is a once a month, come-as-you-are, intergenerational, short service opportunity in the Welcome Center or out in the community. Join us for an hour or two and make a difference in someone’s life. Watch the Grace homepage and Grace Weekly email for project details each month. For more information, please contact Tammy Box.

Church Officer Nominations

Each year at Grace, we nominate fellow covenant partners (members) to serve in leadership as elders and deacons. This year's class of new leaders will serve a three-year commitment beginning January 1, 2026.

Grace, an ECO (A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians) congregation, is governed by the Session, which is composed of elders. The deacons provide care ministries to the congregation. Both elders and deacons are vital to the health of the congregation. These positions require different skills, talents, and gifts. Each has unique duties and requires different energies. Both deacons and elders are required to adhere to the ECO Essential Tenets.

You'll find more information and the nomination forms online HERE. The deadline is Monday, May 12.

MENtorUP

MENtorUP is a wonderful opportunity for Grace men to pour into the lives of Westchase-area middle school (and some high school) young men. We started this beautiful ministry last Spring, meeting our youth on the basketball court, and now that relationships are established, we are ready to go deeper with the students and we need you to help model and teach important life skills, explore career pathways and help our mentees experience opportunities in life that will help shape dreams!  To get involved, contact Kristy Elmore today.

If you have a heart for service, we would love for you to join us! Scholarships are available for this disaster relief trip. The registration deadline is April 26.
