  1. NEW SPRING EPIC COURSE
  2. Practicing The Way: Generosity
A five-week course on the Practice of Generosity through Practicing the Way begins April 13. When Jesus said there is more joy in giving than receiving, he turned our vision of the good life on its head. Through the practice of generosity, we tap into God's joy. This course is not about how to tithe more. Rather, it's a deep dive into what the Bible teaches about generosity and how we can learn about the generosity Jesus teaches and models so that we can be with him and become like him when it comes to anything related to money.

Come and join us on an adventure of joyous living! This course can build on the previous Practicing the Way EPIC course, but it works just as well as a stand-alone class. You do not need to have read or seen anything related to Practicing the Way to be ready for this course. Sign up on our registration link.

Start date: April 13 (Class dates are April 13, 27, May 4, 11, and 18)

    Location: Massey-Tucker Fellowship Hall A

    Palm Sunday Worship Service
Sunday, April 13, 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Parents: arrive early so your children may participate in the traditional palm processional. Hosanna!

    Maundy Thursday Remembrance and Supper
Thursday, April 17, 6:30 p.m., MT Fellowship Hall
This multi-generational supper is a mosaic of beautiful traditions that we cherish from the past meshed with the new traditions we are making together as the Grace family of today. We will be led by Scripture as we walk through the final moments Jesus had with his disciples at the Last Supper. Serving one another with our very hands and actively participating in the evening, we will share this simple meal and count down the final days of the Lenten season together before turning our eyes to Good Friday. No childcare will be provided as we encourage guests and covenant partners alike to experience this beautiful family-friendly evening together. We hope that you will join us.

    Easter Prayer Vigil
All of our covenant partners and friends are invited to participate in an Easter Prayer Vigil, held from 5 p.m. on Good Friday (April 18) to 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday (April 20). This 36-hour vigil offers a special opportunity to join together in prayer, reflecting on the significance of Christ's resurrection. We are looking for individuals and families to sign up for 20-minute prayer slots during this time. Whether you're praying on your own or with others, this is a sacred time to come before God in the quiet hours leading up to Easter. Sign up HERE and be part of this meaningful tradition as we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter morning.
To help you focus your time of prayer, a prayer guide is available HERE.

    Good Friday Worship Service
    Friday, April 18, 7 p.m., Sanctuary
A solemn evening service for this, the darkest of days of remembrance. You will gain a new understanding of Jesus’ sacrifice and the reason for each day of reflection and remembrance during Holy Week. The service will make Easter even more joyful, as the darkness and reflection of the Good Friday Tenebrae service will remind us on Easter Sunday of all the many reasons to praise him through every season!

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

Each year, the congregation of Grace nominates and elects covenant partners to serve as elders or deacons. Elders are given authority and responsibility, along with pastors, to oversee the spiritual health of the congregation as well as the congregation’s faithfulness to God’s mission. Deacons lead ministries that nurture fellowship and caregiving within and beyond the congregation. Do you know someone who would be suited to either of these roles? Prayerfully consider those you know through your Disciple Groups, Together Groups (Inspire, Grace Moms, Men's Groups, etc.), Sunday school classes, or just those you know socially! Nominations are now open and you may find more information HERE.

WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY

If you are out of town or unable to be here to worship in-person this week, please join us online via livestream HERE.

Sunday is Palm Sunday, and we will continue in the Gospel of Luke, looking into Luke 22:54-62 as part of the sermon series titled "Practicing the Way." Children will be participating in the traditional palm processional, and then staying for a Children at the Chancel time. We'll also here from the recent Living Water International mission trip, and meet some new covenant partners. Begin Holy Week with us Sunday at 9:30 a.m.!

LENT & EASTER AT GRACE:
Full details of all the special services and events, lily dedications, and the Prayer Vigil are available HERE. Lily dedications are due Monday, April 14!
