About

With Dolores by his side, Allan Wood spent countless hours for nearly 20 years building the Grace Golf Tournament into a successful fundraiser. Allan’s hard work generated almost half a million dollars for student missions during that time. The tournament continues to honor the Woods’ life and legacy with the same goal of providing needed funds for missions as well as church fellowship. It remains a great event to share with friends, coworkers, and neighbors to introduce them to the vision and mission of Grace Presbyterian Church.

This year’s tournament will benefit two mission partners who help make Jesus visible in Houston and Guatemala.  Our missions focus for the tournament is on ministry organizations which are extremely effective and need to expand their base and bring awareness to a great need.  Partnership with the tournament gives them a chance to be recognized and achieve their next milestone.

  • Friends of Westchase

Friends of Westchase is an organization committed to community transformation in the Westchase area of Houston, TX. Our programs help empower people in Westchase to attack poverty in their life and community through spiritual growth, education, community building, and basic needs.  We desire to come alongside others and initiate community development through partnerships with schools, churches, businesses, and non-profits for the sake of those living in Westchase.

  • Guatemala School Project

Grace Presbyterian Church is supporting the construction of a Christian school for Mayan children in San Bartolo, Guatemala. The school will be a safe way to help young children from indigenous communities with their education, economy, and self-esteem. In addition to education, the goal is to replace their immigration ideas and equip them to use their resources working alongside our resident missionary, Constantino. With God’s help, this project will be more than just a children’s school but also a training center for Christians and missionaries who proclaim the gospel as they are cared for and educated in the love of Christ.
