About Our Missionaries & Partners

Making Jesus visible includes relationships and connections with others to build up the Kingdom of God and to discern what are the unique relationships God is calling and fostering between us and other for Grace to mobilize the congregation and to participate in the mobilization of the global Church.

We do this through two primary relationships:  Missionaries & Partners.

Our partner ministries and missionaries have been developed as strong relationships over the years both local and global in reach. We have a partnership that includes mutual encouragement, equipping, and support.  We have determined that these relationships represent areas ministry and need as well as a geographic location that we sensed and discerned God call us to.  They may change over the years.  Some partnerships are for a season, a year, or for several years.  They often include significant financial support and sending teams to serve alongside the ministry or missionary.

Philippians 1:4-6  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Platform ministries are organizations or individuals that we discern have tremendous value in the Kingdom of God and are doing good work. They are often ministries that members of the congregation are associated with and we champion the ministry by providing space to be recognized, promote opportunities to serve with them, and encourage them with the time and talents of the congregation.  If we witness the interest and numeric growth of involvement with a specific platform ministry by the congregation, we use that as a sign to discern deepening our relationship with the ministry through discerning prayer about moving into a partnership.

Igor Mukha, Jasmina Ristic Mukha, Mila Claire Mukha

Jasmina (from Serbia) and Igor (from Ukraine) met in YWAM (Youth With a Mission) Budapest in 2006 and were married the next year. They felt God’s calling to preach the Gospel in Europe, specifically France. God opened doors for them to move to France in 2008. In 2013, Mila Claire Mukha was born in France. She is a bundle of joy, and she understands and can say words in four different languages. Jasmina and Igor work to build relationships with people in their community through evangelism, small groups, Bible Studies, programs like VBS bilingual camp for children and Christmas concerts. Their desire is to see God’s kingdom come in Europe with many lives changed and transformed by the power of Gospel!

Stu Ross

When he retired from his job here in the States, Stu went to work with The Outreach Foundation in Kenya. Grace Presbyterian Church partners with him in building churches, schools, clinics and water wells. Through Stu’s work, our Kenyan friends are learning about Jesus Christ and becoming healthier both physically and spiritually. Your support of Stu will help spread the Word of the Lord to the people of Kenya.

Rosie & Akap Phom

Rosie, Akap and daughters, Emma and Eliza live in Budapest, Hungary and serve with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). Akap is from India and Rosie is from Serbia. Akap completed DTS (Discipleship Training School) in India in 2001 while Rosie did DTS in Budapest, Hungary in 2003. They have been serving the Lord with YWAM since 2002.  Rosie and Akap are reaching out Hungarians, International students and expats. As well homeless people on the streets of Budapest and partnering with a local homeless shelter. Their hearts are to disciple people in their walk with God, to build support groups which will provide an opportunity for these people to receive counseling, share their struggles, renew their hope and ultimately find life in Jesus Christ.

We are very grateful for our Grace family. Thank you so much for partnering with us in making an Eternal difference! Together we make Jesus visible!

Christopher Mancillas

Christopher was born and raised in Houston by two godly and loving parents and members of Grace, and he still attends when visiting. He is currently on staff with a very fruitful college ministry called Chi Alpha at West Virginia University (WVU) in Morgantown, WV. Christopher got involved with Chi Alpha his freshman year at Sam Houston State University and during Spring Break of his senior year, he went on a mission trip with Chi Alpha to WVU. He witnessed students living sinful lives and he knew he wouldn’t be satisfied if he wasn’t doing anything about it, so his plans changed to become a missionary with Chi Alpha. Following graduation in December 2012 and a one-year internship with Chi Alpha at Sam Houston, he moved to Morgantown in July of 2014 to join Jordan and Katie Goodie in pioneering Chi Alpha at WVU. Their mission is to make life-long followers of Jesus Christ through Spirit-empowered, trans-generational discipleship to impact WVU, the marketplace, and the world. The Lord has tremendously blessed their work and they pray He will continue to do so.

A personal note from Christopher: “Thank you so much to all who give faithfully to Grace so that our work for the Kingdom at WVU can continue! Please pray for continued growth in quantity and quality of the disciples we make! Your prayers mean so much to us; we can’t do this without them!”

Misha Mihaylova

Born in Bulgaria, I was raised in a nominal Christian-Orthodox family. I became a new born Christian when I was a teenager, and my role models became people who went to the most remote places of the earth to tell people about Jesus. Their lives inspired me and challenged me to pursue a  career that would expand God’s Kingdom. I am currently on staff with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) Budapest, connected with the Coffeehouse Ministry Center. I am the DTS (Discipleship Training School) coordinator for Central Europe and I lead the discipleship training programs at YWAM Budapest. 

I was welcomed to be part of the Grace family in Houston in 2014 and became an honorary member of the Frownbusters Clowning ministry team. It’s been a blessing to journey together with you through the friendships I found at Grace, your support and prayers. Thank you!

My prayer for you is from Ephesians 3:17-19, “I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Steve and Barbara Johnson

Steve, Barbara and their five children have lived in Budapest, Hungary since 1996, and they serve there with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). Through their work at the Rezkigyo Coffeehouse in downtown Budapest, Hungarians are learning about the love and grace of Jesus Christ. With a communist past for many Hungarians, the name of Jesus Christ is unknown. Often the possibility of a personal relationship with the Savior based on faith and trust is a very hard concept to grasp. Through your support of Steve and Barbara, you will help spread the Word of the Lord throughout Eastern Europe.

Juan Constantino Santiago

Constantino currently lives in Guatemala and is part of the Grace en Español ministry called “Fe Maya.” He is a “retired” teacher of 27 years with 22 years in Guatemala and five in Colorado. While working as a teacher in Colorado, Constantino received God’s call on his heart to reach children in his homeland and provide them with school supplies while presenting the Gospel. The “Fe Maya” mission was born! He works hard to serve the extremely poor Mayan children in the rural mountains of western Guatemala. God has blessed the work in this region. The children are better equipped to attend school. Many churches have been started, and new believers have been brought into the Kingdom! Constantino has four adult children: Jenny, Allan, Aliri and Isabel. They all live here in the States and assist him in his Guatemala mission work.
