Friday, April 23, 10 a.m.-noon, The Book Barn (3709 Polk Street, Houston, TX 77003)

We are excited to offer a new, ongoing service opportunity to help build up the kingdom of God around the world from right here in Houston. Books for Development is a local non-profit organization that collects donated books to send to developing countries to help create libraries and address illiteracy rates. Volunteers are wanted to help pack and sort books in the Books for Development warehouse. Those books will be sent to Stu Ross and other missionaries around the globe.

Join us May 14 to help sort and pack books. If you want to carpool with other volunteers, meet at Grace at 9:30 a.m. All volunteers are invited to an optional, self-pay lunch at a local café afterwards! To sign up,  email Diana Peper (dpgundaker@aol.com; 713-291-0325).

We will continue to meet on the second Friday of each month through the month of May.
