In partnership with Friends of Westchase, Walnut Bend Elementary, Paul Revere Middle School, Emerson Elementary, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Grace is having a Beds & Bears Family Serving Day! On Saturday morning, March 2, we will come together to build twin beds for children who attend school in our community and don’t have a bed to sleep in at night.
UPDATE 1: We are excited to share that WE HAVE A FULL CREW to build beds on March 2, but there are some available spots to DELIVER beds and bedding, and we have other ways you can help out that morning, too--please reach out to Kristy Elmore to learn more about ways you can help with bedding, hospitality, or registration!

We still have a few slots open to deliver beds. Following the morning build session, the beds will be packaged with boards, nuts/bolts, mattresses, and bedding (and a bear), then loaded in vehicles (trucks, trailers, SUV’s are great!) and delivered to families in our community – mostly zip codes 77077, 77063, and 77042. This is a beautiful opportunity for families to share in together, to meet and connect with neighbors in our Westchase community.
