Holy Week 2024

Mark your calendar and plan to be a part of the culmination of the Lent season, finishing with the joyous celebration of the risen savior. Invitation cards are available in the lobby that you may give to your neighbors to encourage them to join you throughout Holy Week.

Prepare your hearts by taking time each day to read your Grace Lent Devotional, in your email each morning or view all devotionals to date HERE.

In celebration of Easter, please consider dedicating an Easter lily to remember or honor someone you love. Dedications will be accepted through Monday, March 25 and may be made online HERE. Flowers you have dedicated will be available to pick up after the 11 a.m. worship service on Easter Sunday, March 31.

As we enter into the final days of the Lenten season, we encourage you to join us in a 36-hour prayer vigil. Our goal is to have at least one person praying for our world, community, and church from 8 p.m. on Good Friday on March 29 through 8 a.m, Easter Sunday, March 31. Sign up for your spot HERE.

We know we have some pretty fantastic bakers in our congregation! Last year's competition was tough--can you take on last year's winner, Maggie Gardiner? Whether you want to bake something new, or you have a tried and true, passed-down-from-generations recipe in your family, we would love to enjoy your delicious treats on Easter morning! Only one will be named Grace's Greatest Baker. Sign up HERE.

Palm Sunday Worship Service
Sunday | March 24 | 9:30 a.m. | Sanctuary
Parents: arrive early so your children may participate in the traditional palm processional. Hosanna!
During the service, we will sing a new song, “In the Name of the Lord.” This is an worship song written for the upcoming VBS CD and Sunday morning services. If you would like to be a part of the recording of this song, please stay after service for 10-15 minutes in the Sanctuary so we can review and record.

Maundy Thursday Remembrance and Supper
Thursday | March 28 | 6:30 p.m. | MT Fellowship Hall
This multi-generational supper is a mosaic of beautiful traditions that we cherish from the past meshed with the new traditions we are making together as the Grace family of today. We will be led by Scripture as we walk through the final moments Jesus had with his disciples at the Last Supper.

Good Friday Worship Service
Friday | March 29 | 7 p.m. | Sanctuary
Livestream available HERE.
A solemn evening service for this, the darkest of days of remembrance. You will gain a new understanding of Jesus’ sacrifice and the reason for each day of reflection and remembrance during Holy Week. The service will make Easter even more joyful, as the darkness and reflection of the Good Friday Tenebrae service will remind us on Easter Sunday of all the many reasons to praise him through every season!
