Saturday Serve is a once-a-month, come-as-you-are, intergenerational service opportunity. This spring, we are challenging ourselves to stretch! We will still offer on-campus opportunities to serve, but in addition, we plan to visit new communities and learn about important ministry taking place across our city! May 2
Join us at Emerson Elementary for a campus prayer walk and morning of sidewalk chalk decorating to encourage our teachers and remind them how much they are loved as we kick off Teacher Appreciation Week. 10 a.m.-noon.
May 16
Join us for Cookie Mix Making! We will be gathering in the Welcome Center to assemble cookie and brownie mixes, packed in jars to be shared with the congregation with the invitation to take the mix home, bake the cookies and bring back to bless our VBS volunteers during VBS week, June 8-11. 10 a.m.-noon.
June 27
Join us as we serve breakfast to children and families receiving care through the programs at Bo's Place. We will meet at Grace at 8 a.m. (or you may meet us directly at Bo's Place), and ride over together. Bo's Place has a special mission of serving children and families who have lost a loved one, walking alongside them through the grieving process with care, support, and community. This is a meaningful opportunity to show love and encouragement to families during a difficult season. Youth are welcome to join us, accompanied by a parent.
