Requirements:

  • Parent, guardian or student must be an active member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Houston, Texas.
  • Students over eighteen years of age may apply without parental or guardian signature
  • Student must be enrolled in an accredited primary or secondary school or college or university for which scholarship application is submitted.
  • Demonstration of satisfactory academic standing which includes a minimum 2.5 GPA (on a four-point scale) or equivalent and successful class completion rate.
  • Satisfactory completion of an interview of student and student's parents or guardians, with a representative of Grace Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund, Inc., if requested.

If financial aid funds are awarded, these funds will be used only for expenses related to the student's educational program at the school for which the application is submitted. I understand that any financial aid award is subject to revision based upon changes to any of the above information and that all awards are subject to the availability of funds. I further agree to notify the Grace Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund, Inc. if the student receives any additional scholarship money from other sources not listed on this application.

Instructions:

For College Applicants: Describe how your involvement with Grace Presbyterian Church has impacted your time in high school and/or college.

For Grades Kindergarten through Grade 12 Applicants: Describe how Grace School/Grace Presbyterian Church has been a blessing to you (6th grade and above) or to your child (under sixth grade).

Your essay must be no more than 250 words in length. This narrative is to be completed by the student if in 6th grade or above, or by a parent if the student is in 5th grade or below.
