Students have rearranged summer plans to be able to attend this event in the past. It’s kind of hype.

  5. ACTIVATE 2025
  6. SAVE THE DATE for Activate 2025!

Sunday, August 17, at 5 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Activate is a night of student-led worship for the entire congregation. We invite everyone to bring their whole family and all their friends to experience evening worship orchestrated by our students. Our hearts were full last year seeing so many, young and old, join together in a night of intergenerational worship, including worshipful activities that anyone can do, little or otherwise!

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

We  are excited to welcome Grace Student Ministries Summer Intern, Gaby Ocampo! Gabriela, or Gaby, is currently a freshman at Texas Christian University, majoring in psychology and minoring in child development. She is currently involved with Doxology Bible Church in Fort Worth and she spent her spring break this year on a mission trip in Guatemala, building stoves for the people in the village they served and sharing the gospel. Gaby has been with Grace since her sophomore year of high school and has been involved with student ministries during that time, attending summer mission trips and volunteering for VBS.

When she returns from this week's High School Mission Trip, please give her a big welcome and congratulations when you see here on Sundays or at any of the events listed above!

WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY

If you are out of town or unable to be here to worship in-person this week, please join us online via livestream HERE.

This Sunday, we will continuing the sermon series on Zechariah, looking into Zechariah 2:1-13 & Zechariah 5:1-4We'll have a Children at the Chancel time during the service. Equipping Hour classes and the summer Preacher's Class begin at 11 a.m.

Also happening after worship, Discover Grace is a reception-style gathering designed for folks that are newer to Grace. Head to the connections table after worship and a deacon will walk you to the reception where you can learn more about our Grace family. It is an opportunity to meet with Pastor Julia, other staff, and deacons and to get know church through conversation. Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.

See you Sunday at 9:30 a.m.!

__________

We often hear about “time” as one of the aspects of Generous Living. An easy way to contribute your time is to consider joining the team of ushers at Grace. This necessary service provides a rewarding opportunity to meet and greet the members of the family of Grace. Please reach out to Harold Silver (713-304-0436) or Richard Raines (281-658-8114) with questions or to express an interest in serving as an usher.
