  1. FINANCIAL UPDATE
  2. God is good.

We are so thankful for His abundant goodness and faithfulness. We are also deeply grateful for the generosity of our Grace Family--your sacrificial giving reflects hearts aligned with God’s purposes and love for His work. And that kingdom work will continue stronger than ever, touching more lives than ever, thanks to your trust in the Lord’s provision. We not only met but exceeded the operating budget goal set for this year. Because of that, the matching gift was activated.

As you may know, a few families felt a specific calling from the Lord, and discerned a desire not only to give generously to the work God is doing here at Grace, but also to invite others to join them in this effort. These families pledged to provide a match up to $300,000 for all operating fund gifts given to Grace in excess of our current 2025 collections target of $2,800,000.

We passed the collections target, and kept on going, even past the $300,000 mark!

There are still a few year-end checks to come in, but the as of 12/30/25, here are the numbers:

    • 2025 Target Goal was $2,800,000

    • Actual 2025 collections are $3,187,200 (as of 12/30/25)

    • Amount over Target is $387,200

    • Match Goal is $3,100,000

    • Amount Over Match Goal is $87,200 (3%)

    • Match Earned to Date is $300,000

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

  3. MEN'S BROTHERHOOD & BBQ NIGHT: TOMORROW!
  4. Grace Men! Come join us for an evening of brotherhood and barbeque hosted by Grace Men’s Ministry and the Bennetts. We will be meeting on Friday, January 9, at 5:30 p.m., at the home of Brett Bennett. Our entire objective is to create a space for the men of Grace to know each other over some good barbeque. At this event we will announce our 2026 Men’s Ministry calendar. The event is free, but we ask that you register HERE so that we can provide the appropriate amount of barbeque and fixins!

  5. BIBLE IN A YEAR EPIC COURSE
  6. The Bible in a Year program will continue into 2026, encouraging the congregation to read the entire Bible together through the year. This class will meet together each week to discuss what we’ve been reading and support each other as we practice the daily reading of scripture together. We will be using videos and other resources from The Bible Project, and the class will be a discussion- based format facilitated by Grace pastors and staff.

    Time: 11 a.m.

    Start Date: January 4

    Location: Massey-Tucker Hall A

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

The first months of the new year are always a busy time for all of us, and it is easy to miss some of the many opportunities to share life that Grace has to offer. If you are looking for ways to pray over the ministries of the church or simply want to know what's happening in the life of Grace, grab an EVENT DIGEST and get plugged in. There are so many things to be a part of--Bible studies and classes, retreats, mission trips, and other opportunities to serve--ways to live life in community as we share the gospel and share our lives. Spring 2026 Digests may be found throughout the lobby and Welcome Center--pick one up and be ready for the spring months. An online copy is available HERE.

THE BIBLE IN A YEAR UPDATES

NEW READING PLANS AVAILABLE
The first part of The Bible in a Year reading plan takes us through January 24, and we are excited to start onto the next part of the plan! New plans are available in the lobby on Sundays and online HERE. This spring we will be looking at the wisdom that the Bible imparts to us, the continuing history of the nation of Israel, and a review of the Old Testament that will lead us right into the New Testament! Each day’s reading includes a couple of chapters and a Psalm, allowing you to track the chronological, overarching story of the Bible in a year. Grace’s standard Bible version is the New International Version (NIV), but you are free to use a translation you prefer. If you worship at home and would like a paper copy, please email Ramon Gahona at rgahona@gpch.org.

Grace also offers an online reading option here with linked resources for the daily reading HERE.

HERE you will find a multitude of other resources to help you with the reading plan, including videos, podcasts, and articles to bring greater insight to what you have read. You will also find recaps and summaries of sections for times when you may fall behind. Keep up the good work!
