  1. FRIENDS OF WESTCHASE SPRING LUNCHEON
  2. This spring, we invite the Grace community to gather for lunch and discover how your prayers, presence, and generosity are helping the story continue - one relationship, one student, one chapter at a time!

This year's luncheon will be Friday, April 24, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., and we will be honoring co-founder Brent Schnitzius.

We look forward to seeing you at this event that benefits the mission of Friends of Westchase and the greater Westchase community! If you can't attend, but would still like to donate, you can give by clicking the button below - we are deeply grateful for your support!

    Register HERE by April 16.

  3. SATURDAY SERVE PRAYER WALK
  4. On Saturday, April 18, please come prayerfully serve the neighborhoods around Grace Presbyterian Church. At 10 a.m., we will go out in teams to pray for our neighbors. Participants will be divided into partner groups, and each group will be assigned specific homes to pray for. The partners will walk to each house, pray for the household and its residents, and leave a door hanger on every home they pray for. We will return to the church before noon and debrief. No registration is required, but we encourage as many people from the congregation as possible to participate so we can reach and pray for as many homes as possible.

Saturday Serve is a once-a-month, come-as-you-are, intergenerational service opportunity. This spring, we are challenging ourselves to stretch! We will still offer on-campus opportunities to serve, but in addition, we plan to visit new communities and learn about important ministry taking place across our city! Stay tuned to learn more ways you can get involved--watch the Grace homepage and Grace Weekly email for project details each month.

  5. MEN'S MINISTRY BASEBALL NIGHT
  6. Dad’s/Grandad’s Night at the Ballpark!

Baseball season is here! Men, come join us with your children or your grandchildren on Saturday, May 16, as we watch the Astros take on their archrival Texas Rangers. Gametime is 6:10 p.m., and we have a limited number of tickets available, so register HERE today! Check back soon for details about possible meet-ups, carpools, and tailgates!

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

Grace celebrated a meaningful and joyful Easter weekend filled with community, reflection, and celebration. Holy Week observances began with a Maundy Thursday supper where families gathered for a shared meal, fellowship, and remembrance of Jesus' Last Supper. On Good Friday, the congregation observed a solemn Tenebrae service, marking Christ's crucifixion with scripture readings and candlelight. Easter Sunday brought the joy of the resurrection with four vibrant worship services. The sanctuary was filled with music, messages, flowers, and sharing life, as the Grace family joined in lively worship (and enjoyed treats from Grace baker competitors!) in celebration of the risen Christ. It was a powerful weekend of faith, connection, and hope! You may watch the Easter service HERE.

THE BIBLE IN A YEAR UPDATES

As you continue through The Bible in a Year, we hope you've taken time now and then to not only read the passage and check it off the list, but go deeper--study an intriguing story, look for clarity around a passage, or wrestle with a tough question. The Bible in a Year offers content from the acclaimed "Bible Project" series of videos and resources. We have compiled many of their video offerings to coincide with the reading plan, and they offer deeper insights to certain themes and passages than the overview videos and posters. The links to the individual videos are available HERE

HERE you will find a multitude of other resources to help you with the reading plan, including videos, podcasts, and articles to bring greater insight to what you have read. You will also find recaps and summaries of sections for times when you may fall behind. Keep up the good work!

WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY

If you are out of town or unable to be here to worship in-person this week, please join us online via the "Watch Online" link found HERE.

This Sunday we return to a regular schedule, and The Bible in a Year study continues on. This week we are looking into Nehemiah 8:1-12. We will also celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism, hear from our missionary friend Rosie Pastas Phom, AND hear the results of Grace's Greatest Baker! See you at 9:30 a.m.!
