  1. DISASTER RELIEF MISSION TRIP TO NORTH CAROLINA
  2. As you recall, Hurricane Helene devastated the area of Asheville, North Carolina on September 27, 2024. Join the Grace Family for a Disaster Relief Trip to Hendersonville, NC, May 5-9, to help our neighbors recover and rebuild after the storm. Our team will fly into Asheville, NC, and travel together to Hendersonville to serve. The cost of the trip is $400, which includes airfare, ground transportation, and lodging. If you have a heart for service, we would love for you to join us! Scholarships are available for this disaster relief trip. The registration deadline is April 5. For questions or more information, please contact Kristy Elmore.

  3. GRACE'S GREATEST BAKER 2025
  4. We know we have some pretty fantastic bakers in our congregation! The last couple of years were such a hit, can you take on last year's winner?! Whether you want to try out a new recipe, or you have a tried-and-true, passed-down-from-generations one, we would love to enjoy your delicious treats on Easter morning! But only one will be named Grace's Greatest Baker! Some suggested items are: cinnamon rolls, cookies, treats, cake-pops, sweet breads....Gramma's cookies, you get the idea!

Grace's Greatest Baker Ingredients: Sugar, Spice, and everything nice.

Instructions: Sign up HERE and pick up a bag in the Welcome Center with your platter, judge's plate, and entry sticker beginning March 30. Bake 2 dozen of your best recipe and place some samples on the judge's plate. Place the rest of your goodies on the platter provided. Deliver Saturday, April 19, from 1-5 p.m. to the Kitchen in Massey-Tucker Hall, or bring on Easter morning to the Welcome Center. Don't forget to put your entry sticker on the bottom of the judge's plate! Good Luck!

  5. EASTER PRAYER VIGIL
  6. All of our covenant partners and those in our community are invited to participate in an Easter Prayer Vigil, held from 5 p.m. on Good Friday (April 18) to 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday (April 20). This 36-hour vigil offers a special opportunity to join together in prayer, reflecting on the significance of Christ's resurrection.

We are looking for individuals and families to sign up for 20-minute prayer slots during this time. Whether you're praying on your own or with others, this is a sacred time to come before God in the quiet hours leading up to Easter. As the vigil approaches, we will provide a prayer guide to help you focus your time of prayer. Sign up HERE and be part of this meaningful tradition as we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter morning.

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

We are celebrating the growth of Grace's young adult community! GPCH Young Adults exists to connect relationally to college and young professionals (ages 19-35 years) both single or married within the West Houston area and over the last few months, they've made a lot of connections! Attendance is increasing and new faces are arriving each week. The desire is for young adults to have a safe place where thy can grow to know Jesus, be known in a deep community, and know themselves better. A lot of that happens through fellowship and Bible study at g4: Known, a weekly college/young adult together group (which meets on Monday nights at 7 p.m. in MT 208), or though other events and get-togethers. If this is the type of connection you're seeking, or if you know a friend who is, check out more HERE or contact Jordan Goodie or Kaylie Baudin for more details.
