  1. CHURCH OFFICER NOMINATIONS
  2. Each year at Grace, we nominate fellow covenant partners (members) to serve in leadership as elders and deacons. This year's class of new leaders will serve a three-year commitment beginning January 1, 2027.

Grace, an ECO (A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians) congregation, is governed by the Session, which is composed of elders. The deacons provide care ministries to the congregation. Both elders and deacons are vital to the health of the congregation. These positions require different skills, talents, and gifts. Each has unique duties and requires different energies. Both deacons and elders are required to adhere to the ECO Essential Tenets.

You'll find more information and the nomination forms online HERE. The deadline is Friday, May 15. Paper ballots will also be available outside the Sanctuary doors. Completed ballots may be returned to the Connections Table, located in the Welcome Center lobby.

  5. SATURDAY SERVE PRAYER WALK
  6. On Saturday, April 18, please come prayerfully serve the neighborhoods around Grace Presbyterian Church. At 10 a.m., we will go out in teams to pray for our neighbors. Participants will be divided into partner groups, and each group will be assigned specific homes to pray for. The partners will walk to each house, pray for the household and its residents, and leave a door hanger on every home they pray for. We will return to the church before noon and debrief. No registration is required, but we encourage as many people from the congregation as possible to participate so we can reach and pray for as many homes as possible.

Saturday Serve is a once-a-month, come-as-you-are, intergenerational service opportunity. This spring, we are challenging ourselves to stretch! We will still offer on-campus opportunities to serve, but in addition, we plan to visit new communities and learn about important ministry taking place across our city! Stay tuned to learn more ways you can get involved--watch the Grace homepage and Grace Weekly email for project details each month.

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit—We celebrate what God is doing!

We’re delighted to share some wonderful news with our Grace family—Paisley Joy Baudin has arrived! She was born Friday night, April 10, at 11:22 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces.
Proud parents Kaylie and Daniel are soaking in these sweet first days at home with their little girl. Many of you know Kaylie as our Young Adults Associate and Daniel as our Director of Family Ministries as well as a familiar face in the Grace Worship Band. We’re also celebrating alongside grandma, Traci Baudin, our Director of Women’s Ministries (and grandpa Earl, too)!
The Baudin family is home and enjoying this new adventure together. If you’d like to support them during this special season, a Meal Train has been set up HERE, along with options for DoorDash and other gift cards.
Let’s rejoice with the Baudins and keep them in our prayers as they welcome Paisley Joy!

THE BIBLE IN A YEAR UPDATES

As you continue through The Bible in a Year, we hope your curiosity is peaked about some of the passages you are reading. You're not alone! Monday – Thursday each week, catch Word About the Word, a short clip around 3-4 minutes from members of the Grace Family chatting about what they gleaned from the Scripture for the day. If you want to go deeper in your reading, listen along with us as your friends dig into the text! All the clips are available HERE.

HERE you will find a multitude of other resources to help you with the reading plan, including videos, podcasts, and articles to bring greater insight to what you have read. You will also find recaps and summaries of sections for times when you may fall behind. Keep up the good work!
